About GVS
In Spite of the fact that India is essentially a country of farmers the villages in India are still facing a lot of problems especially in the areas like water scarcity, sustainable agriculture development , poverty, ecological imbalance, health hazards, problems of women, children illiteracy etc.
Some young men under the leadership of Shri. Narhari Shivpure established a voluntary organization called Gramvikas under the Chairmanship of Senior Freedom fighters and winner of Presidents medal Shri. B.D. Patil. The sanstha is working towards the goal of sustainable development with the support of various sections of the society.
