Aim Of the Proejct:- Drought relieve and enhance the standered of living of peoples in project area through peoples participation.
Project Objectives:-
- Capacity building of farmers for effective Water management
- To increase the ground water level by effective water Management.
Major Project Components :-
- Water Conservation Works
- Capacity Building Trainings.
Project area:-
Two villages were selected for this water conservation project i.e.
1. Kachner and 2) Khodegaon
These two villages are situated on Aurangabad – Beed road around 40 K.M. away from Aurangabad city, at northern side of SambhajiSuger Factory. The Village Kachner is a well known spiritual place of Jainreligion. With due consideration to the domestic or potable water need and Agriculture water requirement, of targeted region, GraimvikasSanstha implemented the project in coordination with AFARM and Bajaj.

Project Outcome:-
- Irrigated 50 hector agricultural land in both Kharip and Rabbi Season.
- Increased ground water level in the range of 2 to 3 Meters.
- Increase in agriculture income by 50 %
- Employment to landless villagers

- Special contribution by the local people for de-silting of percolation tank.
